A message to yourself, sealed until the day you choose.
Soone supportThe answer may be below. If not, write to us — the form is at the bottom of the page, and we reply to everyone.
No, and it isn't a setting: it is the whole point of the app. A sealed capsule stays closed until the date you chose. Nobody can bring that forward — not even us.
Changing the date on your phone makes no difference: the opening date is checked somewhere other than your device.
No. Not the text, not the recording, not the photos, not the date. That is exactly what gives the gesture its weight: you will find the words you actually wrote, not the ones you would have polished since.
A draft, on the other hand, can be changed as often as you like. Nothing is final until you tap Save capsule.
We can't open it or edit it — nobody can, and that is deliberate.
You can, however, delete it from your list of capsules: swipe the card to the left, then confirm. Deletion is permanent and the content cannot be recovered.
No. Nobody reads your capsules, us included. There is no sharing, no feed, no recommendation.
The content is not end-to-end encrypted, and we would rather say so than let you believe otherwise: in theory it could be read where it is stored. We don't do that. The privacy policy, inside the app, sets out exactly what is kept, where, and for how long.
Three, and you pick one for each capsule:
You can attach up to three photos to any capsule.
Thirty days without a subscription, ten years with Soone+.
A capsule opens at 8 p.m. in your own time zone, on the day you chose.
Yes. Write on the train, on a plane, wherever you like: everything stays with you and goes out on its own once you're back online.
A voice or video recording does need a connection at the moment you seal the capsule.
To find your capsules again, and to feed the Reflections screen. Five themes come as standard: goal, health, relationship, project, memory.
With Soone+ you write your own — up to twelve. If you delete a theme that capsules were using, they don't disappear: they keep the theme name and offer it back to you the next time you write.
Three things to check, in this order:
The capsule can still be opened without the notification: it is waiting for you at the top of your timeline.
Opening needs a connection, just long enough to confirm the date has really come. If you're offline, try again once you're back online.
If it still refuses while you're online, write to us with the capsule's title and the date shown.
It puts what you expected side by side with what actually happened, by theme and by period. It doesn't grade you: it shows you.
It fills up as you open capsules and answer the question “did it happen?”. With no capsule opened yet it is empty — that's normal.
Monthly or yearly subscription, renewed automatically, cancellable at any time.
From iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Soone, then Cancel Subscription.
We can't cancel on your behalf: only Apple can. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for — Soone+ stays active until then.
Open the paywall in the app and tap Restore my purchases. That is enough in almost every case, particularly after reinstalling or changing device.
If nothing changes, check that you're signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with, then write to us with the purchase date.
Purchases are collected by Apple, who issues the invoice and handles the requests. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com with your Apple Account.
Refunds are out of our hands, but write to us if you'd like help putting the request together.
Nothing is taken back. The capsules you have already sealed will open on their date, however distant, and the themes you wrote stay usable.
Only creating new themes and setting long dates go back out of reach.
Profile tab, right at the bottom: Delete my account.
Everything goes: your capsules, your recordings, your photos, your profile. It is immediate and there is no way back. If you want to keep a trace of something, open it and copy it first.
No. Sign in with the same Apple Account on the new device and everything comes back.
One useful caveat: a voice or video draft you haven't sealed yet may not follow, because it still lives on the old phone. Seal your drafts before you switch devices.
Apple only passes your first name on at the very first authorisation, and you're free to hide it. You can correct it yourself: Profile tab → First name.
Twenty-two, including English, French, Spanish, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
The app follows your phone's language, and you can pick a different one from Profile → Language.
